visualising thoughts

This is an infograph, comparing the amount of walking i do in comparison to the amount of auto travel i do, and,  it visualises my growth vs. space to grow more during the last semester at college. (the area covered by footmarks vs. area covered by  tyre tracks compare the transportation method and the ares covered by mesh shows my growth, while the empty space shows space for further learning and knowledge building.) the piece has a key seperately.

Self Portrait

When given the assignment of making a self portrait, this was my reaction. i had never tried it before, and i was confused about how to go about it. well this is the self portrait of my confusion at making a self portrait. done in colour pencils.

Meet Girrane!!

Girrane is  a hybrid between a Giraffe and a Crane! He eats mud and grows extremely fast. the sketch is of an adult Girrane, while the model is of a baby Girrane.

Sail Away With Me, Honey!

This is a 22″.29″ wire mesh sculpture of a ship. it was the first time i worked with the medium.

Ty-Portrait

This is a portrait of the Beatles’ Lyricist and singer Ringo Starr filled in with the Lyrics of the song, “YELLOW SUBMARINE”. the portrait follows the law of closure and is thus seen best from a distance/ in a smaller size. this was done with watercolour and ink.
